Session 3: Threat Actor TTPs: Tools, Tactics, and... Packets?

This session will build on the previous Threat Landscape Overview and the Advanced Threat Detection Deep Dive. First, we'll dive into the attacker tools emerging as the most prolific and highest risk in the threat landscape. We'll showcase a few that stand out from our continuous survey of the threat landscape, red team activities, and Incident Response investigations performed by Arista's Managed Network Detection and Response team. We'll examine how these tools work, how they exploit configurations and systems within your network and explore why they can be so difficult to detect. We'll also illustrate how the detection of these threats is approached within the Arista NDR platform.
