Arista Campus Field Day
Join Arista for Campus Field Day!
Attendees will come away with updated knowledge to increase network operations by incorporating modern cloud-networking principles, save time and increase productivity by leveraging AIOps and zero-touch configuration, and improve network reliability and performance with monitoring, detecting and remediation technology.
PLEASE NOTE: We will be hosting in a Tigers suite (vs. the Guardians) at the conclusion of this event and interested Campus Field Day attendees are invited to join us. Tickets are limited and subject to availability. Please reach out directly to Matt Stolz after RSVP'ing (mstolz@arista.com) to inquire about securing tickets to attend.

12:00 PM: Lunch
12:45 PM: Event Kickoff
12:55 PM: Simplifying Campus Operations w/ CVaaS
- Learn how Arista's network management platform, CloudVision, streamlines and optimizes the day-to-day tasks involved in managing and maintaining a network. CloudVision achieves this by shifting away from traditional, manual, device-by-device configurations to a more automated, centralized, and intelligent approach, often described as a "Modern Network Operating Model".
1:25 PM: AGNI Hands-on Demo
- Arista AGNI - which stands for Arista Guardian for Network Identity - is a next-generation, cloud-native solution for Network Access Control (NAC). It's built on Arista's CloudVision platform and leverages AI/ML to simplify and secure the onboarding and management of users and devices on the network. Attendees will have an opportunity for a hands-on experience to learn firsthand how this solution works.
1:55 PM: Designing for a Scalable, Always-on Network
- In this session, we’ll describe the key aspects of Arista's differentiated approach to the unified campus edge, which includes a portfolio view of all campus products: wired/wireless provisioning, security, monitoring, quality of experience, and location capabilities as they apply to carpeted campus and specialized use cases in healthcare, industrial and higher-ed. In addition, we'll introduce all the campus access products, including management and identity. It will also include a summary of the various campus solutions enabled by third-party partners leveraging intelligence from the Arista network.
2:25 PM: Sponsor (TBD)
2:40 PM: Break
3:10 PM: SSU Demo
- In this session, we'll demonstrate how a key feature of Arista's Extensible Operating System (EOS) enables network maintenance - particularly software upgrades - with minimal to no impact on application traffic. Arista SSU (Smart System Upgrades) is a cornerstone of Arista's approach to delivering highly available and operationally simple networks. It's about ensuring that the network can evolve and be maintained without becoming a bottleneck or source of downtime for critical business operations. See it in action!
3:55 PM: Sponsor (TBD)
4:25 PM: Campus Automation Balancing Act: AVD and Quick Actions
- Arista Validated Designs (or AVD for short) is an open-source Ansible collection that encapsulates Arista's best practices and validated architectures for building robust, scalable, and automated networks. Learn more about this capability along with best practice "Tips and Tricks" directly from Arista automation subject matter experts.
